[OSCARS 2015] : BIRDMAN, THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL…et WHIPLASH grands vainqueurs.

BIRDMAN et THE GRAND BUDAPEST HOTEL sont donc les grands vainqueurs tout en étant talonnés de très près par la pépite indé WHIPLASH !

Voici le palmarès de la 87^e cérémonie des Oscars brillamment hosté par Neil Patrick Harris qui a mis beaucoup du cœur à l’ouvrage…

Avec un total de neuf nominations chacun, les films de Alejandro González Iñárritu et Wes Anderson repartent respectivement avec 4 statuettes. Birdman remporte ceux de la meilleure photo (Emmanuel Lubezki), meilleur scénario original et le doublé meilleure réalisation / meilleur film, quand The Grand Budapest Hotel obtient les meilleurs costumes, décors, maquillage et musique pour Alexandre Desplat qui remporte enfin son premier Oscar au bout de 8 nominations.

Si les films précités n’ont pas forcément crée la surprise et Boyhood n’obtient finalement que celui de la meilleure actrice dans un second rôle pour Patricia Arquette, il faut plutôt se pencher sur l’Excellent Whiplash du jeune cinéaste Damien Chazelle, 30 ans, qui après avoir fait sensation l’année dernière à Sundance transforme l’essai en offrant l’Oscar du meilleur acteur dans un second rôle à J.K Simmons, montage et mixage.

Il y avait également du très lourd dans la catégorie meilleur acteur entre Michael Keaton, Benedict Cumberbatch, Steve Carell ou encore Bradley Cooper, mais c’est finalement Eddie Redmayne, 33 ans, qui empoche le titre pour son interprétation du scientifique Britannique Stephen Hawking atteint de la maladie de Charcot dans Une Merveilleuse Histoire du Temps. Quant à Julianne Moore, elle obtient celui de la meilleure actrice pour son rôle de mère atteinte d’Alzheimer pour Still Alice.

A noter également qu’Interstellar reçoit tout de même celui des meilleurs effet-spéciaux et que Disney se distingue en obtenant coup sur coup ceux du meilleur court et long métrage d’animation avec Festin et Big Hero 6 (Les Nouveaux Héros), au détriment des Boxtrolls ou encore La Grande Aventure Lego qui lui ne figurait même pas parmi les nominés…
